SPF Australia is emerging as the leading supplier of a range of piping products deployed in hydrometallurgical methods. This leadership is the natural extension of SPF Australia’s formidable reputation in High Pressure Acid Leaching (HPAL) technology.

Involvement with major nickel projects such as the AU$2.13 billion Minara Resources Murrin Murrin Nickel Project in Western Australia has given SPF a close familiarity with the industry. The project was a perfect example of SPF’s industry partnering philosophy – SPF maintained a full in-stock supply of the products it estimated the client would require for the duration on the project.

SPF is now participating in ongoing supply to Oxiana’s US$240 million Sepon Copper Expansion, which requires a range of stainless steel, Duplex and Super Duplex pipe, pipe fittings and flanges.

SPF recently won the supply contract for stainless steel, Duplex and Super Duplex piping products for the US$3.3 billion Ambatovy Nickel Project. To date, SPF has supplied pipe, pipe fittings and flanges in TP304/L, TP316/L, UNSS31803, UNSS32750, 347 and 310.
