Cut grooving is a machining process where a groove is precisely cut into the end of a pipe using a lathe or similar tool, allowing it to be joined with grooved mechanical couplings. It’s ideal for thicker-walled pipe and ensures consistent groove dimensions for secure, leak-tight connections.
